Four Superior Duplex Apartments
Four luxury duplex apartments have been created within the Granary Building.The sympathetic conversion has respected the originality of the four storey building, whilst providing thoroughly spacious and modern living accommodation.The building has undergone complete renovation and refurbishment. On the outside this has included; re-roofing, re-pointing the external stonework with lime mortar, renewal of weathered stonework, replacement of windows and doors, the addition of skylights, and renewal of rainwater goods.
On the inside, behind the thick stone walls of the Granary are new internal walls and new hardwood flooring all incorporating high levels of insulation and sound proofing. Heating is by an efficient off peak electrical system and all rooms have been rewired. There is a sophisticated fire protection system and multiple telephone and TV points throughout. The living rooms have also been internaly wired for quadraphonic sound systems.

Access to the accommodation is from the rear elevation off Granary Street. A doorway from street level gives access to a communal hallway on the first floor serving apartments 1 and 2. Stone steps lead up to a further communal hallway on the second floor level serving apartments 3 and 4.All apartments have their own internal staircases. In the case of apartments 1 and 2, the bedroom accommodation is on the ground floor and with apartments 3 and 4, on the top floor. This gives each apartment the maximum benefit of superb views over the harbour.
